IGF-1LR3 — Long R3 IGF-1 research compound
IGF-1LR3 (Long R3 IGF-1) is a modified analogue of insulin-like growth factor 1. Its altered structure binds far less to IGF-binding proteins, so in research models it shows a longer duration of action and higher biological activity than native IGF-1.

Scientific background
IGF-1LR3 consists of 83 amino acids: an arginine substitution at position 3 and an extended 13-amino-acid N-terminal peptide. Those two changes sharply reduce affinity for IGFBPs, leaving more free peptide available. That is why IGF-1LR3 is widely used in research into cell growth, cell differentiation, muscle tissue and metabolic signalling pathways — and as a standard growth factor in cell-culture models.
Why 1MG?
- 1MG — the standard vial size for IGF-1LR3, ample for a full research protocol
- Measured out accurately after reconstitution, with minimal residual loss per vial
Storage
Store unreconstituted at 2–8°C, dark and dry. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, store at 4°C and use within two to four weeks. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
